The University Clinic, a division of Odesa National Medical University, was established in 2004 and became the first clinic in Ukraine that revived the ancient traditions of the medical and educational school.
Combining science with practice, according to the author of the project, academician Valerii Zaporozhan, is an important stage of the strategy of Ukraine’s integration into the European space and the reform of higher medical education.
In a relatively short period of time, the University Clinics have turned into unique scientific and medical units of the university, which provide not only a high level of training for students, interns, and postgraduate education cycles, but also provide highly specialized multidisciplinary care to the general surgical and oncological patients.
