EIGHTH NATIONAL CONGRESS OF PATHOPHYSIOLOGISTS OF UKRAINE

Dear colleagues!

The Organizing Committee invites you to take part in the work of the VIII National Congress of Pathophysiologists of Ukraine with international participation “Pathological Physiology – Health Care of Ukraine”, dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Odessa Pathophysiological School

The congress is included in the Register of congresses, scientific and practical conferences. It will be held on May 13-15, 2020 at Odessa National Medical University.

The scientific program of the Congress is devoted to modern problems of general and clinical pathological physiology with in-depth consideration of the following issues:

  1. History of pathophysiology. The role of scientific schools in the formation of science in Ukraine.
  2. Theoretical background and current issues of pathophysiology.
  3. The achievements of experimental pathophysiology:

1) Typical pathological processes;

2) Pathophysiology of organs and systems;

  1. Achievements of clinical pathophysiology:

1) Pathogenetic substantiation of improvement of diagnostics;

2) Experimental therapy and modern medical technologies;

3) Pathophysiology and development of modern technologies of rehabilitation;

  1. Prospects for improving teaching of pathophysiology in physician training

Within the framework of the Congress the report of the Board of the Scientific Society of Pathophysiologists of Ukraine will be presented, as well as the election of the new members of the Board, the Audit Committee, the President of NTPU and the governing bodies of the Society.

A round table will be held for the heads of the Department of Pathophysiology of Ukrainian Universities “Teaching of Pathological Physiology in the Light of New Requirements of Today. The Role of Pathological Physiology in the Health of the Nation,” which will address the pressing issues of pathological physiology teaching at the current stage of higher medical education and health care reforming.

All the necessary information about the congress, including issues of participation, registration, publications, venue, will be available on the sites of the State Enterprise “Ukrainian Research Institute of Transport Medicine” and Odessa National Medical University from February 10, 2020.

Those wishing to participate in the Congress should submit the necessary materials, specify the form of participation in the Congress, pay the organizational and publishing fees.

Working languages ​​of the Congress: Ukrainian, Russian, English

Form of materials submission

Congressional materials will be accepted for publication in the form of articles or abstracts. Articles will be published in the journals “Topical problems of transport medicine” (http://www.aptm.org.ua/ua/), “Bulletin of marine medicine” (http://www.herald.com.ua/), “Odessa medical journal “(http://journal.odmu.edu.ua/?page_id=70),” Integrative Anthropology “(http://anthropology.odmu.edu.ua/?page_id=70), and” Journal of Education, Health and Sport “(in English, http://www.ojs.ukw.edu.pl/index.php/johs/about/submissions#authorGuidelines). The journals are included in the list of publications in which the results of the theses can be published. The manuscript should be carefully checked and corrected by the authors. The organizing committee is not responsible for the authors’ mistakes. Requirements for abstract design:

Abstracts that have not been published before are accepted for printing. Abstracts should be structured: the purpose of the work, materials and methods, research results and conclusions should be briefly presented.

Abstracts – up to 2 pages (MS Office Word, [* .doc, * .rtf], A4 page with 2 cm margins; Times New Roman font, 12 type size, 1.0 interval, without drawings and graphics) or up to 8000 characters and spaces.

Abstracts design. Please adhere to the following structure: Top left – UDK. Centered across the line: – ABSTRACT TITLE IN CAPITAL LETTERS (in bold) in Ukrainian (Russian) and English; the author’s surname and initials (initials are placed after the surname); name of the organization, city, country; main text – typed after a double-space (paragraph indent – 1.25 cm, aligned in width); keywords – at the end of the text – in Ukrainian (Russian) and English.

Cost of publication60 UAH per page.

The Congress Organizing Committee reserves the right to refuse publication if the submitted work does not meet the requirements. The author is solely responsible for the content of the materials presented, the accuracy of the results and the adherence to the principle of academic integrity. Abstracts are printed without editorial and proofreading!

Abstracts should be emailed to [email protected] and [email protected]. The e-mail should contain: the abstract (file name consists of the first author’s name and initials, sequence number of abstracts, for example: Semko I.G. 1, Semko I.G., etc.); registration card (the name of the registration card file (each participant) – for example: RK1 Ivanov S.M.; scanned copies of receipts (payment of the application fee and publication of abstracts). Without the registration card the abstracts will not be accepted.

An email will be sent to your email address about receiving of your abstract and accepting it for publication. If you do not receive such notification within three days, please duplicate the letter or call the Secretariat of the Congress.

The financial equivalent of participation in the Congress.

The organizational fee is 700 UAH.

Organizational contribution for young scientists (up to 35 y.o.) is 500 UAH.

Cost of publications: 60 UAH for a page, look for the articles on pages of journals.

The deadline for registration is February 15, 2020.

The deadline for submission of articles and abstracts and payment of the organizational fee is March 01, 2020.
