The composition of the Council of Young Scientists of ONMedU has been updated: results of the constituent meeting  

On June 12, 2025, the constituent meeting of representatives of young scientists was held at Odessa National Medical University, during which the composition of the Council of Young Scientists of the University was updated. The event was an important step in the development of the youth scientific community, demonstrating a high level of involvement of young researchers in management and initiative processes.

At the constituent meeting, the election programs of the candidates for the position of Chairman of the Council – Anna Ivanivna ILCHENKO and Vladislav Vitaliyovych KIRCHEV were heard. During the elections, the program for the functioning and development of the Council, presented by Vladislav Vitaliyovych KIRCHEV, received the majority of votes.

From now on, the Council of Young Scientists of Odessa National Medical University will be headed by Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor of the Department of General and Clinical Pathological Physiology – Vladislav Vitaliyovych KIRCHEV.

The following were appointed as the Deputy Chairmen of the Council:

Usenko Darya Vyacheslavivna, Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor of the Department of Pediatrics

Hromadchenko Anastasia Oleksandrivna, Postgraduate Student of the Department of Medical Biology and Chemistry.

Sarakhan Vasyl Mykolayovych, Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor of the Department of General and Clinical Pathological Physiology was approved as the Secretary of the Council.

The formation of a new composition of the Council is not only an organizational procedure, but also a strategic decision aimed at activating the scientific, educational and project activities of young scientists of the University. The Council acts as a key platform for interdepartmental cooperation, searching for grant opportunities, developing scientific mobility and improving academic integrity

The new composition of the Council plans to focus its activities on creating favorable conditions for the realization of the scientific potential of young researchers, expanding opportunities for professional development, and involving graduate students in interdisciplinary initiatives and international scientific platforms.
