The study cycle of postgraduate discussion club meetings in the 2024/2025 academic year has been completed

The final meeting of the postgraduate discussion club for the 2024/2025 academic year was held at Odessa National Medical University.

Throughout the year, the discussion club functioned as a space for free scientific dialogue, exchange of ideas, and discussion of key challenges in modern medicine. Monthly meetings were devoted to discussing topical topics, including:

• “A Modern View of Diabetes: Innovations in Diagnosis, Treatment, and Prevention”
• “Discoveries in Genetics and the Microbiome: New Pathways to Treating Metabolic Syndrome”
• “The Essence of Epigenetics: How the Environment Changes Cell Fate Without Changing DNA”
• “Ethical Dilemmas in Medicine: Euthanasia, Gene Editing”

The university initiative contributed to the involvement of young researchers in interdisciplinary discussions and the formation of academic culture in the medical community.
