Surgical School of ONMedU: Professor Ihor Hladchuk

If you turn the pages of the medical calendar, you can confidently say that October is the month of awareness of women’s diseases and methods of their treatment. This applies, first of all, to a number of educational measures to prevent breast cancer, endometriosis and early menopause.

The health of our women, which is perhaps the most valuable resource for the restoration of the country’s population, was discussed at the annual Plenum of the PO “Association of Obstetricians-Gynecologists of Ukraine” and the scientific-practical conference with international participation “Obstetrics, gynecology, reproduction: present and prospects”.

Scientists and teachers of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Odesa National Medical University took an active part in the work of the plenary session and the conference. Today, this department is one of the leading in Ukraine, its teaching staff under the leadership of Professor Ihor Hladchuk is working on improving surgical methods of treating female infertility and treating a whole range of gynecological diseases.
