Dear Students, Staff and Alumni!

As we look back on a wonderful year for the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at Queen Mary University of London, we wish you and your families a happy and peaceful holiday season and thank each and every one of you for your contribution and efforts over the past twelve months.

While we have much to celebrate, we must recognise that we are living in very turbulent times around the world. In 2024, we continued to welcome medical students from Odesa National Medical University, offering them the clinical training they would find difficult to obtain in Ukraine. We will also be extending the availability of all our recorded lectures to help any medical or dentistry students whose studies have been affected by events in the Middle East.

Together with Barts and The London Student Association (BLSA), we have put together a short overview of the year in the form of an interactive flipbook, celebrating the successes of our staff and students in London and Malta:

We also provide updates on the restoration of our Barts Great Hall.
