Open Science: Concepts, Terms, Documents, Resources

At the end of 2022, Ukraine joined the European Union countries that have an approved plan for implementing the principles of open science, which were laid down by the Budapest Open Access Initiative and in 2003 by the Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Scientific and Humanities Knowledge.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted Resolution No. 892-p “On Approval of the National Plan for Open Science”, which envisages the implementation of many tasks, in particular, ensuring open access to scientific results and scientific and technical information, as well as research infrastructure, publications and data, creating conditions for ensuring equal opportunities and equal access for women and men in science.
We invite you to familiarize yourself with the presentation “Open Science: Concepts, Terms, Documents, Resources”, which contains a description of the main components of open science. The presentation pages also provide links to full-text publications that reveal in more detail the essence of open science, its policy, the rights and responsibilities of authors, and the main elements that any modern scientist should know in order to be fully immersed in the international scientific universe.

We also suggest joining the thematic webinar Data Management Plan: From Idea to Implementation. Modern Digital Applications to Help (DMPOnline and others) on June 11, 2025 at 12:00.
