Dear colleagues!
We are pleased to announce that the IRONMeDU institutional repository was successfully registered in the Bielefeld Academic Search Engine (BASE) on May 20, 2025 – one of the largest and most authoritative open access academic search engines in the world.
BASE URL: https://www.base-search.net/Search/Results?q=coll:ftid14180
15,778 full-text works were collected from our repository.
BASE was created by the University Library of Bielefeld (Germany) and currently indexes over 400 million documents from more than 11,000 repositories, universities and scientific institutions from around the world. Unlike commercial search engines, BASE provides advanced academic filters and focuses exclusively on high-quality scientific content.
For scientists, this opens up a number of important opportunities:
Indexing publications on an international platform recognized by the scientific community;
Increasing academic visibility and accessibility of research results, increasing citations, thanks to integration with other scientific aggregators (in particular, OpenAIRE, WorldCat, Google Scholar);
Compliance with the principles of Open Science and the requirements of international grantmakers;
Registration of our repository in BASE is an important step towards integrating the scientific content of Odessa National Medical University into the global scientific space.
We invite our scientists to actively place their own scientific works — articles, theses, scientific and educational materials — in the institutional repository.
This is especially relevant for authors who are interested in international scientific communication, popularization of their research and participation in grant competitions.
For all questions related to the placement of publications and use of the repository, please contact: st. Mechnikova, 2/1, 2nd floor or by phone: 7185476
