We are grateful to our defenders!

On October 14, 2022, the entire staff of the Department of Social Sciences and students for whom classes were held that day joined the celebration of the Day of Defenders of Ukraine.

In a remote format, informative and educational conversations were held using the materials of the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance. Students watched thematic videos suggested by the teachers, and also made presentations. The teachers of the department thank the students for their participation in the organization of events.

Students of the 1st year of the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 11th groups of the medical faculty shared their thoughts about who for them is the personification of the defenders of Ukraine today: professional soldiers, volunteers, doctors, who at the cost of their health and their lives choose freedom for Ukraine. Students remembered the history of the holiday and prepared thematic posters and postcards in the form of a photo collage; with the help of photos and drawings, they showed how the image of the defender of Ukraine appears before them.

Students of the 2nd year of the medical faculty of group B201 provided information about the history of the holiday, and prepared presentations in which they showed the history of the Cossacks who defended their homeland, as well as information about the holiday of Intercession, which is also celebrated on October 14.

In classes with foreign students of the international faculty of the 2nd year 3rd group, the 5th year 6th group, and the 2nd year 1st group the teachers offered to watch videos and make a message explaining the meaning of this day.

It is necessary to remember the events that fill the hearts of millions of citizens of our Ukraine and the souls of believers with pride and excitement because this is a day of memory and honour of all those who fought for the state sovereignty of Ukraine for centuries, the holy achievements of Ukrainian chivalry, spiritual hopes.
