The MOH reports:
In Ukraine, 5 426 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease have been recorded.
According to the CSH, as of 9:00 am on October 26, 2020 there are 348 924 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, including 6 464 lethal, 142 537 patients have recovered. During the day, 5 426 new cases have been recorded. A total of 3 053 927 PCR tests have been performed. 1 029 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours.
Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:
▪ Vinnytsia region – 9 401 cases;
▪ Volyn region – 12 403 cases;
▪Dnipropetrovsk region – 13 144 cases;
▪ Donetsk region – 8 701cases;
▪ Zhytomyr region – 12 533 cases;
▪ Zakarpattia region – 13 144 case;
▪Zaporizhzhia region – 8 132 cases;
▪ Ivano-Frankivsk region – 18 590 cases;
▪ Kirovograd region – 2 114 cases;
▪City of Kiev – 34 362 cases;
▪ Kyiv region – 14 845 cases;
▪ Lviv region – 27 608 cases;
▪Lugansk region – 3 233 cases;
▪Mykolaiv region – 7 069 cases;
▪Odessa region – 22 179 cases;
▪Poltava region – 8 056 cases;
▪Rivne region – 17 730 cases;
▪Sumy region – 10 605 cases;
▪Ternopil region – 19 261 cases;
▪Kharkiv region – 33 250 cases;
▪ Kherson region – 3 236 cases;
▪ Khmelnitsky region – 13 482 cases;
▪Chernivtsi region – 19 728 cases;
▪Cherkasy region – 8 147 cases;
▪Chernihiv region – 7 971 cases.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory and also by regional laboratories. On October 26, 2020, the Centre received 5 162 reports of suspected COVID-19. A total of 420 441 COVID-19 suspicion reports have been received since the beginning of 2020.
