From “Creepy Reincarnations” to “Pulse of Emergency Care”

October 31, 2025 was a special day for first-year students who took part in the bright event of the week – HALLO-Medin. The event combined the festive atmosphere of Halloween and familiarization with important aspects of the future profession of a doctor.

First-year students of ONMedU enthusiastically immersed themselves in the atmosphere of the thematic event, which was distinguished by a creative approach and extraordinary creativity of the participants. The photo zone, decorated in the style of mystical medicine – with spectacular lighting and thematic decorations, attracted particular attention. Students had the opportunity to capture their images, demonstrating their makeup skills and artistry, transforming into medical workers from the “creepy” world. Festive photos and joint shots created an atmosphere of unity, inspiration and student enthusiasm.

After the entertainment part, the participants were treated to a practical component of the event – a visit to an emergency medical service station. This stage became an important element of the professional development of future doctors. The applicants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the organization of the work of the emergency service, its structure, equipment and principles of functioning.

Experienced specialists demonstrated the equipment of the ambulance, talked about the means of medical support and the procedure for action in critical situations. Special attention was paid to the coordinated work of the emergency team, which includes a doctor, a paramedic and a driver. The students actively asked questions, showing sincere interest in professional details and features of work in conditions of high responsibility.

The HALLO-Medin event became a successful example of combining creativity and professional training. It allowed the higher education seekers not only to show their own initiative and creativity, but also to more deeply understand the meaning of their future mission – to help people and save lives.
