The Ukrainian women’s national hockey team held a training camp in preparation for the World Championship. The training camp was held in the Romanian town of Georgeni.
Anastasia Donchu, a 6th-year student of the 5th group of Odessa National Medical University, was included in the main team as one of the goalkeepers.
Last year, Nastia became the bronze medalist of the Ukrainian championship in the goal of Odesa women’s hockey team “Sisters Kraken”.
On February 7 and 9, the girls played two friendly games with the Romanian national team. The first match ended with a winning score of 1:5, and during the second game, the girls lost to the Romanians 3:2.
By the way, Anastasia Donchu has already decided on her future medical specialty – “physical and rehabilitation medicine”, and is already doing scientific work at the Department of Physical Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine and Physical Education.
