Accessibility Week

As part of Accessibility Week, which is held at ONMedU, teachers of the Department of Social Sciences actively participated in an important initiative to raise awareness about creating an inclusive educational space.

In order to deepen their knowledge and skills in the field of accessibility, teachers of the department were trained on the educational portal Diya. Digital Education in the course “Barrier-Free Literacy”. This course is an excellent resource that helps to understand the principles of barrier-free design, communication ethics, and inclusive interaction with people with different needs.

The knowledge and skills obtained are extremely valuable for our university, because we strive to create an environment where every applicant, regardless of their individual characteristics, will feel comfortable, confident, and have equal opportunities for learning and development.
