Could parents imagine such a future for their children? The war has affected everyone, but families with children are the most vulnerable groups of the population at this time.
According to the UN children’s fund UNICEF, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, 501 children have died and almost a thousand more have been injured. Also, almost 14,000 children are deported, and 353 are considered missing. Experts emphasize that it is currently impossible to establish the exact number of injured children due to active hostilities and the temporary occupation of part of the territory of Ukraine, so a cynical attack on Kyiv on International Children’s Day ended the lives of two more angels.
The protection of small Ukrainians is also a war, a war for life! And while the military defend our land in a fight with the enemy on the hot fronts, the army of doctors provides timely medical assistance both at the front and in the rear. Special attention is paid to children whose happy childhood was suddenly cut short by the war launched by the so-called “Russian liberators”.
