We are 120!

That is true!

That’s how long we are with the University!

We help, support and accompany the educational process and scientific research of the Alma Mater.

For this holiday, the Library has prepared two virtual exhibitions, which we invite you to view.

The first “Heads of the University Library” introduces you to the heads of the library during its 120-year history of existence. Each of the managers is a dedicated person. Professionals who lived in different times, experienced different historical events, in particular, war ones, always saw their main purpose in full informational support of those who serve science and those who chose the most humane profession in life – the profession of Doctor.

The second – “Gifts and Donors” – is a virtual tour of the shelves with unique publications that once formed the basis of the Library’s fund.

You will be surprised at exactly WHAT books we have and WHO gave them to us once!

Isn’t it a wonder that users of our library have the opportunity to touch the books by V.V. Podvysotskyi, or hold in their hands the textbook from which professor M.O. Yasinovskyi delivered his lectures, or flip through the pages of the publications read by the famous M.I. Pirogov, or students of the beginning of the 20th century, who later, after receiving the degree of professor, taught the predecessors of modern Teachers.

Open these books, and they will speak to you in the language of science, evidence, possessions of past centuries, without which today’s achievements are impossible.
