Regular presentations of the First Volunteer Mobile Hospital (FVNH) named after Mykola Pirogov were held on 31.08.20017 and 01.09.2017 in Odessa, in the Odessa Regional Clinical Hospital and Odessa National Medical University, by its co-founder and head Gennadiy Drusenko . As always, the president of the FVNH told about the mobile hospital, the legal basis for its activities, the achievements, the conditions for the participation and work of volunteer physicians.
This presentation of the volunteer hospital in the regional hospital sparked a huge interest of Odessa media. The TV and radio company “Southern Wave” reported that, “a large number of doctors who work not only in city hospitals, but also representatives of regional and rural medical institutions” came to the event.
“No one contributes to establishing of peace on the Ukrainian land as much, as those who treat and heal,” Odessa News quotes Druzenko. – Where the bullets whistle and the shells explode, the need for doctors, nurses and nurses is extraordinary. ”
Odesa “7 TV Channel” focused on the efforts of the FVNH to equate the rights of volunteer physicians working in the ATO zone, with those of military doctors.
Today, at Odessa National Medical University Gennadiy Drusenko presented the hospital twice: first at the big academic council of the university for about a hundred representatives of its academic staff and then for the same number of students of the sixth year.
During the presentation at the Academic Council, Drusenko presented the golden scalpel “Honor and Shana” to the veteran of the volunteer hospital surgeon Alexander Tkachenko, a professor of the ONMEDU, who was recently awarded the honorary title “Honored Doctor of Ukraine” on behalf of the FVNH.
Also, negotiations with the university administration about further cooperation with the FVNH took place.
