A systematic and creative approach – these are the principles on which the admission campaign at Odessa National Medical University in 2025 is built. Open Door Day is not a one-time event; similar meetings with future applicants began in the winter. The events were attended by several hundred graduates of schools, lyceums, medical colleges and their parents. ONMedU hospitably demonstrated its historical buildings, departments, simulation centers and the work of doctors at the University Clinic.
On April 8, for the Open Door Day, which this time took place in one of the structural divisions of the University Clinic, at the Center for Reconstructive and Restorative Medicine, young men and women gathered not only from the Odessa region, but also those who were forced to move to the Odessa region from other parts of Ukraine due to the war.
The executive secretary of ONMedU admissions committee introduced all the nuances and conditions of admission, answered the questions of those present; Senior students of the institution spoke about the features of the faculties, opportunities to participate in scientific circles and international student exchange programs, and representatives of the university administration provided information about the features and innovative approaches to education, focusing on the new bachelor’s level of education and specialties that meet the challenges of modern medicine.
