Dignity and Freedom Day!

On November 21, all of Ukraine celebrates Dignity and Freedom Day! This day is a symbol of struggle and patriotism for every Ukrainian!

In order to systematize the knowledge of higher education seekers about the historical events of the Revolution of Dignity and the Orange Revolution, to cultivate a sense of patriotism and civic responsibility, and to form an active civic position, the Department of Social Sciences held a series of events, where they discussed “The Relevance of the Ideals of the Revolution of Dignity in the Modern World”, “The Role of Youth in Upholding Democratic Values”, “The Impact of the Revolution of Dignity on the Development of Ukraine”.

As part of the series of events, applicants watched a short video film entitled “People Create History. The Heavenly Hundred” in order to form a comprehensive understanding of the meaning and values ​​of the Revolution of Dignity.

A thematic dictation was held with groups of 1st and 2nd year students of the medical and dentistry faculties.

They also actively discussed the past historical victories of Ukrainians, expressed their vision of the future of Ukraine within the framework of the discussion “Historical Paths of Ukraine to Freedom and Independence”.

We hope that those sacrifices were not in vain and that our descendants will not allow the repetition of the bloody pages from the book of our history!
