Representatives of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the State Administration of Odessa Oblast and the Department of Health of the Odessa Oblast State Administration, headed by Deputy Minister of Health Iryna Mykychak, paid a working visit to Berezivka City Hospital Primary Health Care Center.
According to Iryna Mykychak, the purpose of the visit is to coordinate the work of medical staff and the opportunity to hear inquiries that concern the hospital staff. We are creating a program of the President of Ukraine “Great Construction”, in which Berezivka City Hospital opened a Center for Primary Health Care and equipped an emergency department. We invest budget resources, equipment, train staff so that such support hospitals provide round-the-clock care to the patient,” the Deputy Minister emphasized.
Natalia Odarii-Zakharieva, Director of the Health Department of the Odessa Regional State Administration, added: “Today, Berezivka Base Hospital is becoming a powerful Primary Health Care Center. In addition, modern equipment is purchased from the regional budget, and an endoscopic rack is purchased from the latest acquisitions. We are fruitfully cooperating with Odessa National Medical University to attract young people to the hospital of Odessa region. Currently, 11 interns are mastering their medical skills in this basic hospital, but younger specialists are needed, they are being waited here – and then the hospital will work at full capacity. “
