VII International Scientific Conference “Man as Integrity: Philosophical, Linguistic and Pedagogical Discourses”

On October 31, 2024, the VII International Scientific Conference “Man as Integrity: Philosophical, Linguistic and Pedagogical Discourses” was held (in a remote format). The organizers were: the Department of Philosophy, Bioethics and Foreign Languages ​​of Odesa National Medical University, the International Academy of Psychosynergetics and Alphalogy, the NGO “National Academy of Sciences of Higher Education of Ukraine”, the Departments of Philosophy and General Psychology and Psychological Counseling of Odesa National University named after I. I. Mechnikov, the Department of Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology and Law of the Odessa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture. The conference has been registered with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine for several years.

The purpose of the event was to involve the scientific community in a transdisciplinary discussion on the problems of human existence, stimulate and support science in Ukraine, and develop international cooperation.

The conference was attended by 73 participants from seven countries: Ukraine, Great Britain, Spain, Germany, Moldova, Romania, France.

A number of theoretical and practical issues of the personal and socio-cultural existence of man were considered within the framework of modern socio-humanitarian and natural science discourses at sectional meetings in the following areas:

The problem of man and modern science.
The socio-cultural existence of man: linguistic and pedagogical explorations.
Homo loquens: the significance of language for human existence.
Worldview foundations of the modern pedagogical crisis.
Medical anthropology: socio-humanitarian models of medicine.
Temporal aspects of human existence.
The paradoxical limits of human existence: medical-biological and philosophical reflections.
Current problems of bioethics.
“Anthropology of war”: Problems of human integrity in extreme conditions.
Philosophy and psychology of transprofessionalism: the potential for self-realization of an educated person.
Philosophical and legal dimensions of human existence and activity.
Problems of training future specialists in the context of the anthropological crisis.
As part of the conference, a Round Table meeting was held dedicated to the memory of the famous German scientist, one of the founding fathers of the synergistic direction of science, Hermann Haken (1927–2024), initiated by Doctor of Philosophy, Professor I. V. Ershova-Babenko.

According to the results of the VII International Scientific Conference “Man as Integrity: Philosophical, Linguistic and Pedagogical Discourses”, each participant will receive a certificate, a program and a collection of conference materials, the release of which is expected in January 2025 (all in electronic PDF format).
