On April 27 and 28, the annual scientific and practical conference with international participation “Modern theoretical and practical aspects of clinical medicine” for seekers of the second (master’s) level of education was held. This year, the conference was dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the birth of Professor Lyudmila Vasylivna Prokopova.

Students of all faculties and employees of Odesa National Medical University took part in the conference; the works of authors from other universities of Odesa, as well as from universities of other cities of Ukraine – from Kharkiv, Poltava, Donetsk – were presented.

For the third year in a row, the conference was held online on the university’s Microsoft Teams platform.

13 specialized sections worked simultaneously. Students presented their research to the heads of their sections, members of the Presidium and other participants of the conference, including students, interns, post-graduate students, clinical residents, teachers, doctors and researchers of the university. Each report was evaluated by the Heads of Sections and members of the Presidium, and the best ones were awarded prizes.

The number of prizes at the conference this year is as follows:
And places – 15;

Ludmila Vasylivna’s students shared their memories of this outstanding woman – a doctor-surgeon, scientist, professor, head of the pediatric surgery department of ONMedU and dean of the pediatric faculty; reports were also presented that shed light on some of the rich scientific work of Ludmila Vasylivna.

A total of 132 participants reported at the conference, and the number of listeners reached 528. The therapy and family medicine section was the most visited, and the section with the largest number of speakers was the surgery section. We sincerely thank the participants and organizers for the high level of preparation for the conference, and the listeners for their attention. We wish everyone peace and development and look forward to participating next year! Before meeting!
