In 2022, the medical community celebrates another anniversary – the 100th anniversary of the birth of Christian Barnard. The talented cardiac surgeon led a team of doctors who in 1967 performed the world’s first successful heart transplant. In total, about a hundred of such operations were conducted during the year. Although much has changed since then in cardiac surgery as a science and practice, medicine is still grateful for the courage and ingenuity of Ch. Barnard and his colleagues today.
This year, Odessa National Medical University dedicates its Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation “Modern Theoretical and Practical Aspects of Clinical Medicine” to Christian Barnard. The conference will take place on April 14-15, 2022. But the submission of abstracts for participation in the Conference ends on January 21. Have time to send your theses to the link: https://forms.gle/DpNCTNzBguhHSAzB6
The Student Scientific Society and the Society of Young Scientists of ONMedU note that the registration of abstracts takes place only at this link.
