Seminar with the participation of Austrian and Ukrainian universities in Vienna (Austria)

On June 12-13, 2024, as part of the process of building new partnerships, a seminar was held in Vienna (Austria) with the participation of Austrian and Ukrainian universities. The event was organized by the Austrian Agency for Education and Internationalization (OeAD) together with the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research of the Republic of Austria, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine.

ONMedU was represented by the First Vice-Rector, Professor Valeria Marichereda.

In their welcoming remarks, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Austria Vasyl KHYMYNETS, Executive Director of the Austrian Agency for Education and Internationalization OeAD Jakob KALICHE and Deputy Head of the Department of Higher Education of the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research of the Republic of Austria Heribert WULTZ outlined the key priorities of cooperation between Ukraine and Austria, including in the fields of education and science.

During the 2-day productive work of the seminar, the participants had the opportunity to get to know each other, exchange experience of cooperation, present their institutions, find potential partners and discuss ideas for future cooperation and preparation of joint projects in the fields of education and science.
