Reading named in honour of Professor Oleksandr Oleksiyovych Zelinskyi

On May 10-11, 2024, the 3rd All-Ukrainian interdisciplinary scientific and practical conference with international participation “Reading named in honour of Professor Oleksandr Oleksiyovych Zelinskyi. From innovations in obstetrics and gynecology to personalized medicine” took place in Odesa. The main organizer of the conference was the NGO “Odesa Branch of the Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Ukraine”, the founder of which was Professor Oleksandr Zelinsky. ONMedU acted as a co-organizer of the event. More than 500 doctors – collaborators of higher educational institutions of Ukraine took part in the conference: academicians of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Valerii Zaporozhan, Viacheslav Kaminsky, corresponding members Borys Ventskivskyi, Tetiana Tatarchuk, Leonid Markin, as well as colleagues from Ivano-Frankivsk region, Lviv region, Kharkiv region, Mykolaiv region , Poltava region and other regions.

The participation of colleagues from Bulgaria, Georgia, Moldova, Romania and Uzbekistan was of great importance for the status of the conference. The meeting was held in a mixed format: offline and online. This contributed to an active discussion of treatment and diagnostic tactics and routing of patients.

As part of the event, a presentation-competition program of young scientists “From the strategy of innovative scientific search for solutions to medical problems to practical recommendations” was held, the participants of which were graduate students, intern doctors and students from Odesa, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Poltava. The grand prize was awarded to Zinovy Gladchuk, a graduate student at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at ONMedU with the report “Isthmocele: when should it be treated?”

The issues discussed at the conference had not only scientific, but also important practical significance for improving the reproductive health of the population and negative perinatal consequences.
