HEI4Future, University of Lisbon (ULisboa)

On May 27-29, 2024, the University of Lisbon (ULisboa) welcomed the participants of the final meeting of the HEI4Future international project. Our university was represented by: the first vice-rector, Professor Valeria Marichereda, Vice Rector’s Assistant for Prospective Development Viktoria Borshch and Rector’s Assistant for International Work Iryna Savchenko.

We will remind you that NEI4Future sought to create conditions for the development and creation of new programs that innovatively and multidisciplinaryly meet the needs of higher education in the areas of production, urban mobility, health and nutrition. This provides a key holistic approach to the emergence of initiatives and the development of entrepreneurial thinking, the support of new business projects that may arise in higher education institutions, the creation of communities of practice to strengthen the flow of communication between universities and business.

Also, the aim of HEI4Future was to improve the organization of educational institutions themselves, for more flexible and effective resistance to the new challenges posed by modern society. ONMedU conducted a wide range of actions and events in this direction with the aim of developing innovative thinking among students, graduate students, interns, teachers, as well as members of the non-academic community.

During the final meeting, the impressive results achieved by all project participants were discussed, they got to know the University of Lisbon, and they exchanged plans for the future.

It was a unique experience of cooperation with excellent partners.

We hope for further fruitful cooperation within the framework of new projects.
