Employees of Odessa National Medical University joined the IAAR online training seminar (based on WFME / AMSE standards)

On July 8, 2021, the staff of Odessa National Medical University, led by the Vice-Rector for Research and Teaching, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Marichereda Valeria Hennadiyivna, joined the IAAR online training seminar (based on WFME / AMSE standards). The training was conducted by IAAR category I expert, candidate of medical sciences, associate professor of Kazakh National Medical University named after S..D Asfendiyarov.

The Independent Accreditation and Rating Agency IAAR is a leading international accreditation agency for quality assurance in education, part of the European Register of Quality Assurance EQAR and a full member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education ENQA.

The program of the seminar included many problematic issues, including: international accreditation as a tool to improve the quality of education, analysis of international accreditation standards for management and administration of higher education, formation, management, evaluation and continuous updating of educational programs, formation and management of educational environment and resources. As a result of an eight-hour training seminar, administrative and scientific-pedagogical staff of Odessa National Medical University received knowledge that will be the basis for international accreditation, which aims to ensure high quality educational services based on international institutional and specialized (program) accreditation of educational organizations and rating research, formation of the system of internal quality assurance of education in ONMedU, improvement of the educational process and environment, as well as the system of strategic management of the university.
