Dr. Dominic L. Feinendegen from Switzerland was awarded the title of a visiting professor of ONMedU

The world’s leading specialist in plastic-reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, Dr. Dominique L. Feinendegen from Switzerland was awarded the title of a visiting professor of ONMedU. The decision was made at a meeting of the Academic Council, which was chaired by the Rector of ONMedU, Chairman of the Academic Council, Academician Valerii Zaporozhan.

He is the author of a huge number of scientific papers and publications in the most influential scientific journals. Dr. Dominique L. Feinendegen was born in Basel, Switzerland. He studied medicine at the Universities of Marburg and Aachen (Germany), at the Universities of New York at Stony Brook and Houston (Texas, USA), at the University of Bern (Switzerland).

Dr. Feinendegen trains specialists at the Inselspital University Clinic in Bern, is the Chief Physician of Mount Vernon Hospital in London, the Bellevue Clinic in Zurich, and the University Hospital Erlangen-Nuremberg.

He is a co-founder of the Swiss Society of Aesthetic Surgery in Geneva. Developed innovative methods to repair various soft tissue defects of the face and body. In particular, the technique of closing large defects of the lower spine, for which he was awarded by the European Association of Plastic Surgeons and the Swiss Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.
