Despite the difficult times, despite all the difficulties that the entire system of higher education currently has to face, Odesa National Medical University initiated a scientific-methodical inter-university conference with international participation “Ensuring the quality of education in a higher medical school”.
During three days, the participants of the event — representatives of ONMedU, ONU, specialists from Ukraine, Israel, Kazakhstan — had the opportunity to communicate, make presentations, take part in trainings, seminars and discussions regarding the reform of the national health care system and further ways of quality development of the educational process in medical institutions.
The head of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assuarance Andriy Butenko, who took an active part in the work of the event with his colleagues, gave a high assessment of the conference held for the first time on the topic of the quality of education.
“This is an extremely correct initiative of Odesa National Medical University. Thank you very much for inviting us to this “quality marathon”. It is extremely gratifying that one of the oldest medical universities of Ukraine provided an opportunity for representatives of Odesa medical institutions to gather and discuss the search for optimization of higher education quality models for the training of new, modern specialists,” noted Andriy Butenko.
Within the framework of the conference, a meeting was also held between the chairman of the ational Agency for Higher Education Quality Assuarance Andriy Butenko, deputy chairman Olena Eremenko, head of the department of accreditation of educational programs Hanna Deniskina and leading specialist of the department of accreditation of educational programs Andriy Trikisha with vice-chancellors, guarantors of educational programs and heads of units of ONMedU, at which recommendations were given on passing accreditation of educational programs.
