Another Isolated Hyperthermic Chemoperfusion Operation

Recently, a multidisciplinary team consisting of surgeons- oncologists and vascular surgeons of the Department of Surgery N4 with a Course of Oncology conducted another isolated hyperthermic chemoperfusion operation on a lower extremity of a patient with sarcoma in the University Clinic of Odessa National Medical University. This method allows to save the limb and give hope of recovery to the patient. This operation is unique not only in Ukraine, but also abroad, and in our clinic it is stamped out on the assembly line, thanks to the rector of our university V.M. Zaporozhan. We would also like to take the opportunity to congratulate him on his birthday, wish him long years of life and creative inspiration!

By the way, during the operation there were employees of the National Cancer Institute, who were satisfied with the level of treatment, staff, equipment and general philosophy of the institution in our clinic.
