33rd Congress of the European Academy of Dermatovenereology in Amsterdam (Netherlands)

From September 25 to 28, 2024, the 33rd Congress of the European Academy of Dermatovenereology was held in Amsterdam (Netherlands). More than 17,000 dermatologists from around the world participated in the event. Odesa National Medical University was represented at this event by employees of the Department of Infectious Diseases with a dermatovenerology course: Professor M.E. Zapolskyi, associate professors O.I. Nitochko. and V.I. Khrushch In total, there were more than 100 delegates from Ukraine.

Professor Zapolskyi M.E. presented a panel report on the topic: Morphological features of different forms of actinic keratosis depending on localization.

Associate Professor Oleh Ivanovich Nitochka was granted a grant to participate in the congress from the European Academy of Dermatovenereology, he presented a panel report on the topic: Case of eczema herpeticum in a breast cancer patient.

A very interesting scientific program was offered at the congress, which involved 650 speakers from more than 50 countries, and 180 sessions were organized. The rich program of the congress, in addition to reports, included additional sessions on subspecialties, various trainings covering the most relevant topics of dermatovenerology: atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, acne, bullous dermatoses, oncodermatology, STDs and many others. The exhibition showcased the latest technologies, treatment methods and tools in the field of dermatology and venereology.

Also, the participants of the congress had a great opportunity to hold personal meetings with scientists from different countries, which contributed to the establishment of international professional contacts and opened opportunities for future scientific cooperation.
