Until the end of 2022, scientists of the Odessa National Medical University have been provided with free access to full-text electronic resources available within the Research4Life.
More than 15 publishers have opened electronic collections of books and magazines for ONMedU users, in particular, providing access to the resources of the following major publishers:
Elsevier; Springer Nature; John Wiley & Sons; Taylor & Francis; Emerald; Sage Publications; Oxford University Press; Cambridge University Press; IOP Publishing and others.
The total content of the platform is almost 75 thousand books, and more than 12.5 thousand magazines and databases.
Researchers can access the content of the Research4Life, platform by requesting [email protected] for an institutional login and password.
Research4Life is a project organized in a public-private partnership by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and the International Labor Organization. (ILO), Cornell and Yale Universities, and the International Association of Scientific, Technical, and Medical Publishers.
Since 2002, the project has provided more than 10.5 thousand institutions from more than 125 countries with online access to academic and professional peer-reviewed scientific literature.
The platform consists of 5 collections of literature:
Hinari (research in biology and medicine);
AGORA (agricultural research);
OARE (Environmental Research);
ARDI (access to scientific and technical information);
GOALI (research in law and social sciences).
