ONMedU participated in an online meeting held by the Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov

The Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov held an online meeting with the rectors of medical universities of Ukraine
On April 22, the Minister of Health of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov held a video conference with the heads of medical educational institutions of the country.
A.i. rector of ONMedU, Professor Ruslan Vastyanov took part in the meeting on behalf of our Univercity.
Issues of organization of the educational process during the quarantine, necessity of introduction of changes in the schedule of final examinations and tests of students, problems of activity of clinical departments of universities on the basis of medical institutions arising from the implementation of the second stage of medical reform from April 1 were discussed. The topic of participation of units of educational establishments, teaching staff, interns and volunteer students in overcoming the COVID-19 epidemic was a separate issue.
The rector of Lviv National Medical University named after I.V. Danylo Halytskii, Academician of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Professor Boris Zimenkovsky shared his thoughts on the disturbed problematics. The discussion was also joined by the rector of the National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education named after P.L. Shupyka, Academician of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Professor Yurii Voronenko, Rector of Vinnitsa National Medical University named after M.I. Pirogov, Academician of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Professor Vasyl Moroz, Rector of Zaporizhzhya State Medical University, Professor Yuriy Kolesnyk and others. Deputy Minister of Health Iryna Mykichak also participated in the meeting.
Summarizing the conversation, Minister Maksym Stepanov promised to analyze all the problems and remarks heard carefully and to facilitate their solution in the near future.
