Valerii Zaporozhan: The most important thing for a scientist is to pass on their knowledge and educate the next generation of followers

For every scholar, students are a testament to the fact that their skills, knowledge and experience have not been acquired in vain, that their work will live and inspire new and new generations of followers. Chairman of the Academic Council of Odessa National Medical University Valerii Zaporozhan said it during a solemn dedication of freshmen.
He added that he had been handing white robes to ONMedU freshmen for 25 years, and each of these days was special. “What we invest in them is our creativity and our immortality. We give them what we had dreamed of when we were young, and what we have finally been able to realize – knowledge, skills, spiritual and moral principles. I love my work and our students, they are the sense of my life, ”Valerii Zaporozhan said.
He added that in today’s freshmen he sees future academicians, eminent doctors, rectors and managers: “Their generation will take our place, and it is very inspiring.”
