Scientific identification of scientists in ORCID

The Ministry of Health of Ukraine in compliance with the letter of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated September 4, 2023 No. 1/13262-23 on the arrangement of profiles of researchers on the ORCID platform, in accordance with subsection 4 of paragraph 7.6.5.1 of the operational plan of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for 2023 year, approved by the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated January 10, 2023 No. 15,  addresses with the following.
The State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine (hereinafter – SSTL of Ukraine) based on the translation of the English-language version of the recommendations for creating and filling with information researchers’ profiles on the ORCID platform, a corresponding project of recommendations in the Ukrainian language was prepared. These recommendations are published on the SSTL of Ukraine website.

The Ministry of Health of Ukraine recommends that scientific (scientific and pedagogical) workers, graduate students, students – everyone who is engaged in scientific activity, has scientific publications and other research results, and at the same time do not have their own account on the ORCID platform, within a two-month period to create and populate it according to these recommendations, given the many advantages and opportunities that using the ORCID profile provides to scientists.
