On March 13, the pilot project “BizON — Promotion, Transformation and Inclusive Development of Business Education in Selected Regions of Ukraine” was presented in Odessa.
Representatives of the Department of Healthcare Management of Odessa National Medical University – Head of the Department Olena Rudinska and Professor of the Department Natela Kordzaya – actively participated in the event.
The ambassador of the educational part of the project was the well-known Ukrainian economist and educator and former Minister of Economic Development and Economy (2014) Pavlo Sheremeta.
The event became a starting platform for an open dialogue between representatives of the government, business and the educational sphere, aimed at creating high-quality educational programs that will meet the needs of the market and contribute to the economic development of the country’s regions.
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine and the financial support of the Government of Japan provided within the framework of the project “Transformational Recovery for Human Security in Ukraine”.
The project is planned to be implemented in three regions of Ukraine – Odesa, Kharkiv and Vinnytsia. In Odesa region, the project is implemented by the All-Ukrainian Professional Association of Entrepreneurs in cooperation with the Odesa Regional Military Administration.
Businessmen and representatives of educational institutions discussed the problems of training highly qualified specialists, problems that arise in modern realities and possible ways to overcome them. Further active cooperation between ONMedU and project managers in the field of career guidance and popularization of university specialties among higher education seekers and in the Ukrainian labor market was discussed.
