Excursion to the Anatomical Museum of ONMedU

On March 14, 44 students of  city lyceum No. 35 visited the Anatomical Museum of Odesa National Medical University – one of the best museums of this direction in Europe.

Unique exhibits are collected here, including the bones of a person who lived for 120 years, fragments of mummified bodies from the Egyptian pyramids, etc. Some of the specimens were made by the institution’s scientists, who demonstrate their scientific achievements. This museum is a temple of science, so ONMedU employees protect it with love and reverence.

The Anatomical Museum has played an important role in the educational and scientific processes of the university since the first years of its existence. Collections of specimens of the respiratory organs, skulls and all body systems allow future doctors to look at human organs from the inside and study the anatomy of the human body, and scientists to conduct their research at a high level.

According to the students, the excursion was very interesting and informative.

By the way, on March 18 at 3 p.m., ONMedU will host an Open Doors Day, the program of which also includes tours of the institution’s museums.

We are waiting for you!
