ONMedU will expand the area of ​​departments operating on the basis of university clinics

The current health care system provides maximum use of university clinic facilities for the purposes of the educational process. A.i. rector Yurii Sukhin analyzed the ratio of the area departmental premises  and the premises of university clinics.

The results of the analysis showed the need to expand the area of ​​the departments located on the basis of university clinics, due to the redistribution of the university areas according to the actual need.

Increasing the size of university clinics for educational purposes will help maximize the combination of two processes: the provision of medical care and training of professional staff, which fully meets the modern world requirements for medical education.

In addition, the expansion of the departmental premises will certainly lead to expeditious decision-making on financial, economic and other issues related to the life of the departments located in the clinical units of the university and university clinics. Since we face daily problems with the lack of funding for our clinics, which is known to overwhelmingly come from the state budget, while receiving funds from a special account of university clinics does not meet their reasonable needs at all.

In addition, it is impossible to equip the departments of the university with modern medical equipment without adequate space. Based on the above, the Academic Council voted for the redistribution of the space between the departments and clinics of the University, in favor of increasing the area for the purposes of the educational process at the following addresses: Tenistaia ST., 8; Pasteur St, 9;  Olhiyivska St., 4.
