On March 9, we celebrate the birthday of one of the most outstanding figures of our people – Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko.
The poetry of the Great Kobzar is more modern than ever! It was Shevchenko who owned the immortal words “Fight – you will overcome! God helps you!”
Shevchenko the artist is one of the founders of critical realism in Ukrainian painting and art.
