On March 31, a meeting of the Academic Council of ONMedU took place

On March 31, a regular meeting of the Academic Council of the Odesa National Medical University was held online under the chairmanship of the Rector, Academician Valerii Zaporozhan.

The agenda included important issues for the successful operation of the institution in martial law: ensuring the quality of distance learning, reorganization of the personnel department and military mobilization work, reorganization of the regime department.

In addition, the issues of creating a new structural unit of ONMedU dentistry direction, redistribution of space between university departments and university clinics were considered.

The Academic Council approved the proposal of the head of the ONMedU staff, Professor F.I. Kostiev, to transfer the one-day salary of the institution’s employees for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The members of the Academic Council unanimously recommended the publication of the textbook “Pharmaceutical Hygiene” (authors V.V. Babienko, A.V. Mokienko and O.A. Gruzevskii) and “Odessa Medical Journal” (№ 6 2021).

At the end of the meeting, the Chairman of the Academic Council Valerii Zaporozhan emphasised: “Thank you all for the fruitful work we are doing in a very busy time. Thank you for your resilience, courage, understanding, desire and ability to work in such difficult conditions. I am sure that soon after the Victory, we will meet at a meeting of the Academic Council in our usual place – in the auditorium № 1 and shake hands. ”
