Our permanent supervisor, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor OlHa Yushkovska made an introductory speech. She thanked everyone for the fruitful cooperation and focused on the main areas of work in the next academic year.The report on the work in 2019/2020 academic year was heard, reported by the Chairman of the SSS – Oleksandr Nikolaienko, a 6th year student. This academic year was very fruitful for the development of student science at our University. We have had many master classes, many meetings of scientific circles at different departments, organized the School of the Young Scientist “Science for Dummies”, for the 11th year in a row we have been cooperating with Victor Pinchuk’s Foundation “Zavtra.UA”, participated in All-Ukrainian and International scientific conferences. Despite the pandemic, our scientific circles actively held their meetings remotely! This year we have proved again that the Student Scientific Society is a story not about one person, but about a whole team of real like-minded people! During the meeting we were happy to welcome and approve the new members of the SSS council, because our doors are always open for those who want to immerse themselves in the interesting world of science!

The last stage of our meeting was the election of a new chairman of the SSS for the 2020/2021 academic year. According to the election results, Bohdan Andriyovych Zinchuk, a 5th year student, was elected.“It became my goal to become a member of the SSS in the second year of studies, when I won the University Scientific Tournament together with my team “Antibody “. It was then that I realized that I want not only to do science, but also to participate in the organization of scientific events within the walls of our University. And already in the 3rd year, I reached my goal. 2 years of fruitful cooperation as a part of the SSS’s assets were unforgettable for me! This academic year I have already held the position of a Deputy Chairman of the SSS and for me it is a great reward to become the Chairman of the SSS in the next academic year. I will continue the traditions of our Society and will do everything for the development of student science at ONMedU! ”, – these were the concluding words made by Zinchuk Bohdan.
