The MOH reports:
In Ukraine, 2 174 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease have been recorded – it is a new abysmal record in the number of infected people registered per day.
According to the CSH, as of 9:00 am on September 7, 2020 there are 138 068 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, including 2 877 lethal, 62 606 patients have recovered. During the day, 2 174 new cases have been recorded. A total of 1 709 017 PCR tests have been performed. 379 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours.
Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:
▪ Vinnytsia region – 4 406 cases;
▪ Volyn region – 5 883 cases;
▪Dnipropetrovsk region – 1 630 cases;
▪ Donetsk region – 1 630 cases;
▪ Zhytomyr region – 3 746 cases;
▪ Zakarpattia region – 8 091 case;
▪Zaporizhzhia region – 1 931 cases;
▪ Ivano-Frankivsk region – 10 348 cases;
▪ Kirovograd region – 858 cases;
▪City of Kiev – 15 276 cases;
▪ Kyiv region – 6 278 cases;
▪ Lviv region – 6 278 cases;
▪Lugansk region – 434 cases;
▪Mykolaiv region – 1 665 cases;
▪Odessa region – 8 525 cases;
▪Poltava region – 973 cases;
▪Rivne region – 9 762 cases;
▪Sumy region – 1 963 cases;
▪Ternopil region – 7 390 cases;
▪Kharkiv region – 7 390 case;
▪ Kherson region – 500 cases;
▪ Khmelnitsky region – 3 195 cases;
▪Chernivtsi region – 11 272 cases;
▪Cherkasy region – 1 950 cases;
▪Chernihiv region – 2 372 cases.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory and also by regional laboratories. On September 7, 2020, the Centre received 2123 reports of suspected COVID-19. A total of 199 986 COVID-19 suspicion reports have been received since the beginning of 2020.
