MOH. Latest information of 8.09. 2020

The MOH reports:

In Ukraine, 2 411 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease have been recorded – it is a new abysmal record in the number of infected people registered per day.

According to the CSH, as of 9:00 am on September 8, 2020 there are 140 479 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, including  2 934 lethal, 63 546 patients have recovered. During the day,  2 411  new cases have been recorded. A total of  1 731 877 PCR tests have been performed.  940 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours.

Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:

▪ Vinnytsia region –  4 450 cases;
▪ Volyn region –  5 943 cases;
▪Dnipropetrovsk region – 2 843 cases;
▪ Donetsk region –  1 675 cases;
▪ Zhytomyr region – 3 812 cases;
▪ Zakarpattia region – 8 091 case;
▪Zaporizhzhia region –   3 812 cases;
▪ Ivano-Frankivsk region – 10 508 cases;
▪ Kirovograd region – 867 cases;
▪City of Kiev – 15 511 cases;
▪ Kyiv region –  6 370 cases;
▪ Lviv region – 16 073 cases;
▪Lugansk region – 448 cases;

▪Mykolaiv region – 1 690 cases;
▪Odessa region –  8 721cases;
▪Poltava region – 997 cases;
▪Rivne region –  9 860 cases;
▪Sumy region – 2 070 cases;
▪Ternopil region – 7 580 cases;
▪Kharkiv region – 11 202 case;
▪ Kherson region – 518 cases;
▪ Khmelnitsky region – 3 253 cases;
▪Chernivtsi region – 11 431  cases;
▪Cherkasy region – 2 046 cases;
▪Chernihiv region – 2 450 cases.

 

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are missing.

The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory and also by regional laboratories. On September 8, 2020, the Centre received 2 779 reports of suspected COVID-19. A total of  202 765COVID-19 suspicion reports have been received since the beginning of 2020.
