In Ukraine, 21584 cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease have been recorded
According to the CSH, as of 9:00 am on May 26, 2020 there are 21584 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, including 644 lethal, 7575 patients recovered. During the day, 339 new cases have been recorded.
Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:
▪ Vinnytsia region – 910 cases;
▪ Volyn region – 805 cases;
▪Dnipropetrovsk region – 895 cases;
▪ Donetsk region – 155 cases;
▪ Zhytomyr region – 647 cases;
▪ Zakarpattia region – 1092 case;
▪Zaporizhzhia region – 416 cases;
▪ Ivano-Frankivsk region – 1306 cases;
▪ Kirovograd region – 482 cases;
▪City of Kiev –2710 cases;
▪ Kyiv region – 1458 cases;
▪ Lviv region – 1405 cases;
▪Lugansk region – 44 cases;
▪Mykolaiv region –281 cases;
▪Odessa region – 842 cases;
▪Poltava region – 267 cases;
▪Rivne region – 1475 cases;
▪Sumy region – 166 cases;
▪Ternopil region – 1121 cases;
▪Kharkiv region – 930 case;
▪ Kherson region – 177 cases;
▪ Khmelnitsky region – 370 cases;
▪Chernivtsi region –3101 cases;
▪Cherkasy region – 392 cases;
▪Chernihiv region – 134 cases.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory and also by regional laboratories. On May 26, 2020, the Center received 950 reports of suspected COVID-19. A total of 53961 COVID-19 suspicion reports have been received since the beginning of 2020.
