The MOH reports:
In Ukraine, 7 517 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease have been recorded – – it is a new abysmal record in the number of infected people registered per day.
According to the CSH, as of 9:00 am on October 23, 2020 there are 330 396 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, including 6 164 lethal, 137 578 patients have recovered. During the day, 7 517 new cases have been recorded. A total of 2 950 463 PCR tests have been performed. 2 680 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours.
Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:

▪ Volyn region – 11 792 cases;
▪Dnipropetrovsk region – 12 380 cases;
▪ Donetsk region – 8 160 cases;
▪ Zhytomyr region – 11 264 cases;
▪ Zakarpattia region – 12 541 case;
▪Zaporizhzhia region – 7 495 cases;
▪ Ivano-Frankivsk region – 17 705 cases;
▪ Kirovograd region – 1 858 cases;
▪City of Kiev – 33 135 cases;
▪ Kyiv region – 13 958 cases;
▪ Lviv region – 26 399 cases;
▪Lugansk region – 2 985 cases;
▪Mykolaiv region – 6 602 cases;
▪Odessa region – 21 128 cases;
▪Poltava region – 7 532 cases;
▪Rivne region – 16 985 cases;
▪Sumy region – 9 888 cases;
▪Ternopil region – 18 613 cases;
▪Kharkiv region – 31 592 cases;
▪ Kherson region – 2 951 cases;
▪ Khmelnitsky region – 12 413 cases;
▪Chernivtsi region – 18 811 cases;
▪Cherkasy region – 7 704 cases;
▪Chernihiv region – 7 582 cases.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory and also by regional laboratories. On October 23, 2020, the Centre received 8 050 reports of suspected COVID-19. A total of 402 007 COVID-19 suspicion reports have been received since the beginning of 2020.
