The MOH reports:
In Ukraine, 7 053 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease have been recorded.
According to the CSH, as of 9:00 am on October 22, 2020 there are 322 879 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, including 6 043 lethal, 134 898 patients have recovered. During the day, 7 053 new cases have been recorded. A total of 2 914 006 PCR tests have been performed. 2 679 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours.
Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:

▪ Volyn region – 11 574 cases;
▪Dnipropetrovsk region – 12 068 cases;
▪ Donetsk region – 7 896 cases;
▪ Zhytomyr region – 10 838 cases;
▪ Zakarpattia region – 12 285 case;
▪Zaporizhzhia region – 7 093 cases;
▪ Ivano-Frankivsk region – 17 447 cases;
▪ Kirovograd region – 1 786 cases;
▪City of Kiev – 32 500 cases;
▪ Kyiv region – 13 688 cases;
▪ Lviv region – 26 021 cases;
▪Lugansk region – 2 841 cases;
▪Mykolaiv region – 6 428 cases;
▪Odessa region – 20 557 cases;
▪Poltava region – 7 216 cases;
▪Rivne region – 16 691 cases;
▪Sumy region – 9 730 cases;
▪Ternopil region – 18 283 cases;
▪Kharkiv region – 30 899 cases;
▪ Kherson region – 2 844 cases;
▪ Khmelnitsky region – 11 942 cases;
▪Chernivtsi region – 18 562 cases;
▪Cherkasy region – 7 541 cases;
▪Chernihiv region – 7 367 cases.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory and also by regional laboratories. On October 22, 2020, the Centre received 7 426 reports of suspected COVID-19. A total of 393 957 COVID-19 suspicion reports have been received since the beginning of 2020.
