The MOH reports:
In Ukraine, 1592 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease have been recorded – it is a new abysmal record in the number of infected people registered per day.
According to the CSH, as of 9:00 am on August 13, 2020 there are 86 140 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, including 1992 lethal, 46 216 patients have recovered. During the day, 1592 new cases have been recorded. A total of 1 233 925 PCR tests have been performed. 530 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours.
Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:
▪ Vinnytsia region – 3086 cases;
▪ Volyn region – 4471 cases;
▪Dnipropetrovsk region – 1630 cases;
▪ Donetsk region – 1027 cases;
▪ Zhytomyr region – 2266 cases;
▪ Zakarpattia region – 6009 case;
▪Zaporizhzhia region – 1010 cases;
▪ Ivano-Frankivsk region – 6177 cases;
▪ Kirovograd region – 733 cases;
▪City of Kiev – 10 002 cases;
▪ Kyiv region – 4377 cases;
▪ Lviv region – 11 474 cases;
▪Lugansk region – 170 cases;
▪Mykolaiv region – 755 cases;
▪Odessa region – 4572 cases;
▪Poltava region – 516 cases;
▪Rivne region – 7206 cases;
▪Sumy region – 754 cases;
▪Ternopil region – 3489 cases;
▪Kharkiv region – 5378 case;
▪ Kherson region – 286 cases;
▪ Khmelnitsky region – 1468 cases;
▪Chernivtsi region – 7110 cases;
▪Cherkasy region – 1067 cases;
▪Chernihiv region – 1107 cases.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory and also by regional laboratories. On August 13, 2020, the Centre received 2004 reports of suspected COVID-19. A total of 142 508 COVID-19 suspicion reports have been received since the beginning of 2020.
