On December 21, at the age of 84, the heart of Viktor Petrovych NEPORADA, associate professor of the Department of Disaster Medicine and Military Medicine, stopped beating.
Viktor Petrovych graduated from Odesa Medical Institute in 1963, after which he worked in the health care system as a sanitary doctor. In 1972, he defended his candidate’s thesis. In 1982, he received the scientific title of associate professor.
Since 1984, he was the head of the Department of Epidemiology of the Odesa Medical Institute, and since 1986, in connection with the reorganization, he was the head of the epidemiology course of the Department of Infectious Diseases.
Since 2006, he worked as an associate professor at the Department of Disaster Medicine and Military Medicine.
During his work, Victor Petrovych NEPORADA put a lot of effort into the training of scientific personnel and the education of future doctors. Taught foreign students in English. Enjoying general respect, he remained a modest, friendly and very kind person, a reliable friend. An honest, decent, sensitive friend, always ready to help, he loved and respected his family.
