Dear compatriots!
Today we celebrate the main holiday of our country – Independence Day.
33 years ago, a new young state – Ukraine – appeared on the world stage.
Ukrainians achieved their independence through suffering for centuries, and after receiving it, they began to build the state in their own way. It was not easy, there were ups and downs, successes and mistakes, but we relentlessly followed this path for the sake of the prosperity of the Motherland and its worthy place among European countries.
Since independence was proclaimed, several stages of spiritual renewal and growth of patriotism, development and preservation of the traditions of the Ukrainian people, and a sense of pride for our country and its history have passed.
And every year this holiday added strength and confidence in the future.
At our Odesa National Medical University, the level of quality of education and training of specialists in all medical specialties has been constantly increasing. International relations with the world’s leading medical universities developed intensively. Thousands of foreign and domestic students were proud of the diplomas received at ONMedU.
Unfortunately, on February 24, 2022, the war began. Peaceful life is destroyed. It is difficult for us to work, study and achieve our goals. It’s difficult, but we live, fight, work!
We believe in our Victory, in the triumph of reason and justice, in the fact that Ukraine will renew itself, become even more beautiful, brighter and more successful.
Happy Independence Day!
Glory to you, Ukraine!
Glory to the heroes!
