Shevchenko days have started!

Taras Shevchenko is an outstanding Ukrainian poet, artist, public figure – undoubtedly one of the most outstanding figures of our people.

Shevchenko’s life is a symbol of the thorny path of struggle. Years and centuries pass, but the sharpness and power of his words lives on. The spirit of freedom, which Kobzar longed for, comes to Ukrainians and adds confidence in their own self-assertion. His whole life and work were dedicated to the Ukrainian people.

The mystery of Shevchenko’s personality phenomenon is still unsolved! He was a man of universal gifts and interests.

In the period from March 4-8, 2024, the Department of Social Sciences, headed by associate professor Olha Sikorska, is scheduled to hold educational and creative events with winners of ONMedU in honor of Taras Shevchenko.

Antonina Krytska, a teacher at the Department of Social Sciences, developed a quiz on the knowledge of Kobzar’s biography and activities, which we invite all applicants to take part in. We will announce the winners on March 11.
