The student scientific group VIA SCIENTORUM of the Department of Social Sciences of ONMedU is visiting the Scientific Ethnological Student Society (SESS) of Odesa National University named after I. Mechnikova

On November 3, 2023, a joint meeting of the VIA SCIENTORUM student research group of Odessa National Medical University (research supervisor, Faculty of Science, Associate Professor Tetyana Leonidivna Podkupko) and the Scientific Ethnological Student Society (SESS) (research supervisor, Faculty of Science, Associate Professor Natalia Oleksandrivna Petrova).

Within the framework of the selective discipline “Archaeological and ethnographic tourism and museology” students of the ONU named after I. Mechnikov prepared interesting reports, and the hospitable Ethnographic Svitlitsa, with the assistance of the student council of the Faculty of History and Philosophy, gladly received the guests. The event was held in a mixed format and brought together more than 20 participants in an interesting conversation.

This is a new experience of cooperation, when doctors and historians found common scientific interests. Both teachers and students expressed their desire for further cooperation, exchanged ideas and plans for new interesting, fruitful, scientific meetings.
